Rockstar Games has confirmed that Grand Theft Auto VI will officially release on May 26, 2025, putting an end to months of leaks and speculation about its launch schedule. The announcement comes after several delays and widespread online chatter fueled by unofficial gameplay footage, internal leaks, and teaser content.
While the company has not disclosed official pricing, industry sources indicate that the Standard Edition is likely to be priced at approximately Rs 5,999. The Deluxe Edition may be available around Rs 7,299, with the Collector’s Edition expected to exceed Rs 10,000. Pricing details are expected to be confirmed closer to the launch.
Anticipated to be one of the largest open-world games to date, GTA 6 will likely require high-end hardware. Reports suggest that the game may require the following minimum specifications:

GTA 6 will introduce dual protagonists—Jason and Lucia. Jason is reportedly tied to regional drug trade operations, while Lucia, recently released from prison, partners with him in search of a new beginning. Additional characters such as Cal Hampton, Boobie Ike, Dre’Quan Priest, and Raul Batista have been featured on Rockstar’s website. Early speculation suggests Raul Batista may play a larger, possibly central role, but official confirmation is pending.
